Company Overview

Company profile summary and capabilities.

Circ is a Danville, Virginia–based textile-to-textile recycling company known for chemical processing of polycotton blends, a difficult waste stream that mixes polyester and cotton. It promotes a hydrothermal approach that separates blended textiles into reusable building blocks for new materials.

What it does

The process targets recovery of both cellulosic and polyester-derived components, producing outputs such as cellulose pulp and purified polyester intermediates intended for reintegration into fiber and polymer value chains. Circ also offers regenerated fibers positioned as “drop-in” inputs.

Recent projects

Circ has publicized plans for “Circ France,” described as a first commercial facility engineered for polycotton recycling at scale. In 2025 it also announced partnerships aimed at scaling textile-to-textile recycling and enabling lower-emissions operations.
