Operations
AngloGold Ashanti’s portfolio includes large-scale underground and open-pit operations and growth projects (e.g., Sukari in Egypt; Obuasi and Iduapriem in Ghana; Geita in Tanzania; and operations in Brazil and Argentina). It also advances greenfield exploration and project studies in jurisdictions such as Colombia and the United States.
Products and sales
Primary output is gold, produced as doré (unrefined bars) and refined gold meeting LBMA “good delivery” standards, with additional revenue from gold concentrate and by-products such as silver and sulphuric acid.
